Privacy notice
Last changed 16 September 2026.
This page says what Gadgets 24/7, Thapagaun, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu 44600, keeps when you send a message through this website, for how long, and who else handles it.
What the forms collect
The enquiry forms on product pages, on the repairs page and on the contact page collect:
- your phone number, which is required;
- your name and email address, if you give them;
- your message;
- for a repair, the device and the repair you picked;
- for a product, the product, the configuration, its condition and the price the page showed, and the address of the page;
- when you sent it.
To keep automated spam out, the site also notes whether a message looks automated, and why. To limit how many messages one connection can send in an hour, it keeps a scrambled, one-way form of your internet address — not the address itself — for about two days.
What it is used for
To answer your enquiry. The website sends at most one email to you: an acknowledgement with your reference, if you gave an email address. It sends one to the shop with your message.
The shop uses these details to reply to you, and not to send you marketing.
How long it is kept
Six months. Each message is stored with its deletion date when it arrives, and a job in the database deletes it once that date has passed. It runs every day.
That covers the website’s own records. The email the website sends to the shop about your message, and any acknowledgement sent to you, are ordinary emails: the website doesn’t delete them from either inbox.
Who sees it, and who else handles it
Shop staff with an account on the website’s admin area can read the messages. The website also relies on these services, which handle information as part of running it:
- Supabase stores the website’s database, where messages are kept.
- Vercel runs the website. Like any web host, it records the requests your browser makes, including your internet address.
- Resend sends the website’s emails: the one to the shop, and any acknowledgement to you.
- Google provides the shop’s email inbox, where the email about your message arrives.
- Cloudinary stores and serves the product photos. Your browser fetches them from Cloudinary, which sees your internet address as it does so. No message you send goes to Cloudinary.
- Cloudflare answers the lookups that point the website’s address to its host.
These companies operate outside Nepal, so your details are stored and handled outside Nepal.
WhatsApp and phone calls
The WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp with a message already written, which you can change before sending. That conversation happens in WhatsApp, under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. The website doesn’t see or store it. Neither does it store phone calls.
Cookies and tracking
The public pages of this website set no cookies, and there is no analytics or advertising tracking. The only cookies are the ones that keep shop staff signed in to the admin area.
Asking for your details to be deleted
There is no account to delete, so the shop finds your messages by phone number. Send the request below with the phone number you used.
The shop will delete the messages it holds under that number, and this request with them, and may call the number first to check the request came from you. You can also ask what it holds under your number the same way.
You can ask in person, by phone on 984-1444997, or on WhatsApp, too.
Changes
